As most of you know, I’ve seen been cutting hair down in the Peninsula (20 minutes south of San Francisco) previously in Redwood City and now (currently) in Belmont. And for some of my San Francisco based clients, it wasn’t feasible to make the trek down to see me… which is perfectly understandable. But for those clients that have stuck with me through the transitions: I appreciate y’all! But… there’s some good news to be had!
Starting October 21, I’ll be splitting my time from my Belmont location with the brand new barber shop in the Dogpatch district, Cream’s Barbershoppe, owned by none other than Chris Eliares. He was one of the barbers I worked with at the beginning stages of my career that helped me progress in this craft, so getting back into the swing of things alongside of him will only lead to more progression! I definitely can’t wait to be back up in San Francisco, cutting hair, no less!
For the time being, I will only be working on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the potential of being opened on Mondays given the demand.
So, if you’re one of my previous clients from San Francisco or looking for a barber in the San Francisco Bay Area, book an appointment with me at the new location. There’s some fun to be had! Book an appointment with me via email:
Other methods of booking an appointment will be updated in a later date.
Hope to see y’all soon.

Starting this Saturday, Redwood City’s Captain’s Skate Shop will have a soft-opening for their barber shop. Towards the back of the store, there will be three stations set-up. Can you guess who will be occupying one? The hours will be going alongside the retail stores hours, but may change given the demand. I’ll be there starting at 11!
Not only will quality haircuts and straight razor shaves be offered, but there will be quite a variety of pomade to purchase! Of course, I’ll be suggesting some brands to carry. They have quite a few brands to start with, but who said you only have to have a few? Can’t ever have too much pomade!
Here’s a sneak peak:
The shop is located at 2066 Broadway Street in Redwood City. Right in the heart of the downtown area, you can kick back in the shop or grab a bite to eat while you wait. It’s in an area where you won’t mind waiting around for a cut! Trust me, in due time, this shop will have a lot to offer!
So far, I’ll be retaining my Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays at my current spot in San Francisco, but I’ll be available here for Wednesdays and Saturdays. Sundays and Mondays are also available upon request. To book an appointment with me for this shop, shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get an appointment figured out.
For the time being, stay tuned on the Instagram page: Captainsbarbers and see how this shop will progress into a killer barber shop in the Bay Area!
Hope to see y’all soon.

With Viva Las Vegas 14 creeping up on us, it means everyone with an online shop is gonna be pushing sales, stick to their old college days diets, and start taking shots at home before heading out at night.
Though most of you monies will be going towards VLV14, you better not gamble it all away, because there are some crazy shows coming up right after!
Literally, a week after VLV, one crazy gig is gonna be hoppin’ with the Wild Records crew! This is definitely a show you wanna catch, if you’re in The Bay Area! Details here.
And a couple weeks later, The Hi-Rhythm Hustlers are saying farewell, for the time being (I hope.) This will be their last Bay Area show. You can bet everyone will be in their Sundays-best and be swingin’ the night away.

See you all soon!

The weather in the Bay Area has taken a 180. Not sure if I like it or not, because as much as I do love the cold weather and the ability to layer up, I was enjoying the “heat.” Even though it made me darker than Cherrywood… It was nice to be warm.
But, since it is starting to get colder, it means my kid can finally wear the coats I bought her!
Here we are…
Who is the styling one? The baby...
Since I’m ALWAYS at Target (TARGET IS FUCKING AWESOME, GET OVER IT!) I always check the kids section for clothes. More often a miss than a hit. But, when they do hit it, they hit it dead on. This coat is cute for little girls.
Converse black button down (From Target)
Plain ol’ Boots
Forever 21 Headband
Little Red Target Trench
H&M Hello Kitty Tank
Target Leopard print flats
(I’m sure the clothes have their own individual branding, but do you think you’d find them outside of Target? I don’t think so.)
Her detail shot.
My detail shots never turn out pretty…
I need to re-up on winter gear… How weird is that? Even though the year before you’ve bought fall/winter gear, the next year you always find yourself thinking you don’t have the right stuff… Always wanting more.
